Pork chop skillet meal







Number of Servings - 4



Ingredients:


4 T. fat4 pork chops (1 inch thick)
4 slices Bermuda onion4 rings green pepper
4 T. uncooked rice3 c. stewed tomatoes
c. diced celery

Preparation:


Heat fat in skillet on high ' Turn to medium low and brown chops until well browned on both sides, approximately 15 minutes. Place a slice of onion and one green pepper ring on each pork chop. Place I tablespoon rice in each ring. Pour tomatoes around the meat; add celery. Place cover on skillet and when steam appears, switch to simmer and allow to cook for 1 hour.
