Chicken dressing

Ingredients:


4 c. left over biscuit and loaf bread1/2 c. finely chopped onion
4 c. egg cornbread (use several eggs to make)1 c. chopped celery
1/3 c. butter or oleo1 c. milk
3 c. chicken broth (about)Salt
Pepper

Preparation:


Crumble the bread in large bowl. Add onion, celery, and seasonings. Add enough hot chicken broth to make a soft mixture. Mix well. Add butter and milk. Mixture should be very soft to allow for loss of moisture during baking. Add more broth if necessary. Pour in greased pan and bake in moderate oven (350'F.) for about an hour. Stir occasionally. Serve with giblet gravy.
